Dancing their way to love! Palak & Neel share their lovestruck tale that began on an auspicious Navratri evening.
An Unexpected Beginning
Ever thought you could meet your destined partner amidst a crowd of revelers? Well, love knows how to find its way! This cute couple, who tied the knot on 21st August 2021, took an instant liking the moment their locked gaze while playing Raas-Garba- way back in 2010. There’s something innately romantic about the Navratri festival- it’s a vibe! That reminds me of some of my favorite blockbuster hits- but hey, this is real.
Smitten by each other, the two couldn’t help but steal glances- eventually unfolding a piqued concern that made their first meeting a reason to stay in touch. Palak was taken aback by Neel’s quick attention when he rushed up to check up on her the moment she was accidentally hit by a Dandiya stick by a fellow reveler. That’s cute, isn’t it?
A Journey of Smiles
Neel’s sense of humor and kindness quickly found its way into the heart of our bubbly Asopalav bride, Palak. Being best friends- as Palak best describes her relationship that is built with years of affection and a bond deeply rooted in trust.
By spending quality time even with hectic schedules, the two nourished their bonding with a whole lot of love, care, and understanding. Whether it was an after-work coffee date or a weekend drive, Neel and Palak put in their efforts to make things work out.
Popping Up “The Question”
With their hearts exchanged, these two best friends and love birds created beautiful memories for over a decade when finally, Neel took a step towards a lifelong plunge. So, did Palak see it coming? Deep inside, yes, yet the preciousness of the moment was a surprise.
As romantic and chivalrous as he could be, Neel led his girl to a breath-taking gazebo by the lake at the golden hour. The scene was perfectly executed with the most awaited question and a smiling Palak extending her hand to her man standing on one knee. The couple exchanged a promise that was happily witnessed by their dear ones.
The Real Task Begins
Saying ‘Yes’ is not just the commencement of a lifelong promise, it carries an underlying task of putting together a beautiful ceremony, especially if you’re connected with the Indian culture where special occasions involve a long guest list. Weddings in India are all about unique details and several rituals that create an unparalleled experience for the couple and everyone gracing the occasion with their presence.
Sounds like too much work? It is! But having your family and friends beside you for the ad-hoc tasks of an Indian wedding is bliss. Palak & Neel decided to go by the eternity of traditions to solemnize their new journey- all set for the tedious event preparations with their enthusiastic entourage.
Her Dream Look
Palak is one modern and confident beauty who takes pride in her roots. Her preferred D-Day look was thus the traditional red lehenga that has symbolized the precious commencement for millions of brides over centuries.
A short trip to India and the Asopalav store in Ahmedabad brought the bride-to-be amidst a luxurious collection of wedding lehengas to keep up with the extravagance of her wedding finalized at Crowne Plaza. Amazed by the options and prompt services of the store, Palak picked a custom-tailored red lehenga for her wedlock and an elegant grey-white lehenga for her grand reception overseas.
Coordinated Outfits
Couples twinning at their wedding festivities is still a cute trend! Neel stylishly coordinated his sherwani with Palak’s lehenga. His green and beige sherwani paired with red dupatta and turban was consciously curated from the Asopalav store. For the reception feast, Neel opted for a classic black suit and soft grey shirt that complemented his wifey’s sophisticated lehenga.
The Secret!
Ready to walk the aisle while bringing her wedding visions to life, Palak was all smiles, so- was it her bridal blush or something more?
Here’s the secret, as much as we know, the two cute lovebirds managed to sneak out and share vows privately before the ceremony!
But what were those promises? The wedding vows that they repeated at the venue? Or a series of ‘ I will always’ and ‘I will never ever’- for their special list, well, that’s something these two will always keep to themselves!
